In order to optimize the performance properties of any roofing or waterproofing system, its design and application require proficiency at each stage of the project by utilizing strategic placement of team members be they in-house or key teaming firms and resulting implementation.
ABEN took a hard look at successful projects. A common set of successful traits were evident; Each project had integrated quality experts at each phase from sales, accounting, technical, estimating, superintendents, crew chief, installers, construction managers, specification writers, CAD departments, etc.
ABEN came to the conclusion that historically where disconnects exist at some phase of a project is where the problems begin. These may include the owner, architect, consultant, contractor, manufacturer, construction management or others. The net result typically results in money left on the table, increased project costs, increased liability and in some cases where a finished system does not meet its original intent of design.
Why? Project success is predicated upon a vertical integration of matching expertise and coordination between design, through manufacturing, to project management and finished installation.
ABEN’s full service methodology looks at collective project needs through the eyes of the building owner, through project participants to completion and warranty issuance. Value added engineering is not wishful thinking but at the core of our structure provided it does not negatively impact the Owner’s intent of design.
While ABEN is not a manufacturer, nor a consulting firm, architectural & engineering firm or roofing contractor, it does provide those collective services by teaming with them. ABEN is not predisposed to any one manufacturer or product. Product selection is based upon what is good for the building.
